V/A - Helter Skelter

compilation tape of Japanese noise music from 1986. 26 minutes of pure hell featuring the works of Merzbow and Null as well as live recordings of Hanatarash and Hijokaidan. A rare and not well-known release that all fans of Japanese noise should pick up. The Merzbow track is fudgeing awesome

Zach Hill - Face Tat

Zach Hill is the drummer from Hella, and Face Tat is the coolest fucking album ever. It came out not too long ago, and I'm just blown away by both the technical mastery and the chaotic energy of it. Not only is Zach one of the best drummers around, but he's a fucking mad man and puts together some of the most energizing punk-noise chaos around. This album is like a cross between Boredoms, Black Lips, Hella, dirty synth music and amphetamines. There's a fierce energy pulsing through this whole thing and it's just a great listen. Just watch the video below, its from a song on the albummm. This guy's a fucking champ.

R@d1oh3@d - Th3 K1ng 0f L1mß5

Its a pretty damn short album, but it has a lot of nice dark pretty moments that I dig. If you liked the quieter moments of Kid A and In Rainbows, then I say go for it.
BTW, the link is in .FLAC format. Anyone can use .FLAC very easily, but I think .FLAC files have to be reformatted if you want to play it in iTunes. I recommend using the free program XLD if you're a mac user.
Also, the link might say that it is "temporarily unavailable", but keep trying, it has not been deleted, at least not yet. It'll work after a few tries. I think it just says this a lot because the link is being used so much that it gets busy and shit.

Forest Creature - Frustrated Analogue

I first heard about these guys when one of their songs (from this album) popped up on Pitchfork.com for a bit last year. I thought it was catchy, and hunted down a link for the one album they put out(turns out this link was actually released by the band). Each song is its own noise-drone piece, normally with some aggressive synthetic loops of sound and tones. This album is for fans of the band Fuck Buttons, and who are looking for the next level of that kind of madness. It's intermediate-level Fuck Buttonry; much more raw, simplistic and devoid of vocals. Highly worth a listen to anyone who likes to just zone out on some weird shit. Definitely not the easiest music to listen to, but is still kind of addicting. I've been listening to this album since last year, and still I find myself putting it on just to have a freak out of some sort. And it still does the trick.

Vladislav Delay - Multila

Often regarded as Sasu Ripatti (aka Vladislav Delay)'s best work. The sounds he makes are really unlike any noise or ambient I ever heard. The noises are deep, churning, organic, and dark as fuck: sounds that provoke the mind to imagine dead bodies slowly crawling out of the deepest oceans. Or maybe that's just me. Either way, Multila sounds like the artifact of some failed scientific attempt to record the vibrations of the Earth's crust on acetate vinyl. A must listen for those who have a taste for weird noises and burps on the digital whatever machine.

Akron/Family - Love Is Simple

Some dank folk tribal rock with tambourines and shit. A lot of the album consists of fun playful jams with whatever instruments they have at the studio that day, but often times the album just goes fucking weird on you with some really cool dark weird territories (namely the primal freakout in the song "Lake Song/New Ceremonial Music for Moms", which is the best song on the album). All around a fun and unique rock experience, with plenty of sweet jams and enough left turns and wildness to be worth a listen.

Kriegshog-S/T and Hardcore Hell

TWO FOR ONE POST INSANITY
If you're anything like us at robin williams' knuckles this is the kinda shit that will rock your world. Kriegshog is aggressive as all hell, and noisy to boot, also they are from japan which is always a plus around here. This is some powerful shit. One of the best hardcore bands I've heard in a long time and possibly ever. These guys are really something MUST LISTEN

Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa-How Fly

IT's been awhile since anyone has posted anything on here but we are back with more jamz for y'all. This one is a miztape by Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa. I like this album because in my opinion it's a really nice example of where rap is right now. With extremely catchy beats paired with lyrics delivered with style that would make a pimp blush, this album is must listen to for fans of rap made in the 2000's.
