Fennesz - Endless Summer

CLASSIC CLASSIC CLASSIC this album fits on my "Top Ten Albums of All Time" list (Top 5 maybe? That could be pushing it, but who knows?) It's noisy, it's melodic, it's beautiful, it knocks you on your ass! One of the best albums you'll find on this blog!

Special Thanks to this guy for posting the album on his blog

Boards of Canada - Music Has the Right to Children

It's like Campfire Headphase (which is also on this blog), 'cept this album is more funky and creepy. Often hailed as their best album. Really good music to Trip to, take it from 僕me僕

Lou Reed and John Cale - Songs for Drella

I've kinda been on a Lou Reed binge this summer, I probably know why but that's not important. This is a concept album done by Lou Reed and John Cale about Andy Warhol. It's sometime sung through the voice of Warhol, sometimes it is sung in the third person about Warhol and other times it is sung from the perspective Cale and Reed about their relationship's with Warhol. this has become a new favorite of mine.

Consumer Electronics and Merzbow - Horn of the Goat

This one here is a wild one. Japanese noise legend Merzbow teams up with power electronics pioneer Philip best (Whitehouse). The constant changes in pitch and speed make you feel like your in a sapceship going down. The constant distortion paints a good background for this kind of madness.

Hit that shit chief

Rocket From The Tombs - The Day The Earth Met The..

protopunk wildness. Crazy overdriven bass and guitar with the energy of like i don't know at least 10 water bison. Also they do an instrumental version of raw power that is to die for.

Never Gonna Kill Myself Again

Lou Reed - Metal Machine Music

good ol' Lou Reed, he never ceases to amaze me. This one is unlike any of his other albums i've heard. The best way i can describe this is contemplative noise you listen to it and it just makes you think and reflect. This one is a feedback frenzy of hums, distortion and guitar sounds, it's great. check it out if you like noise or Lou Reed.
